Bradley's Wax Museum

Bradley was director Tim Burton for his
Wax Museum at school.
I was really surprised that he
actually let me mess up his hair like
Tim Burton wears his.
He's usually so shy, but he did so good
and didn't even seem
scared to talk to everyone.
The real Tim Burton

Bradley as Tim Burton

I can't believe Bradley will be in
Middle School in just a few months!!

Eight is Great

This baby girl is now 8!
Marci is really sweet and thoughtful.
She gives me foot rubs and
massages my back and is always
asking me if the baby is okay.
She loves to help and always wants to
be doing something!  She talks....A LOT!
She loves to draw and make crafty things.
She wants to ride her bike all the time.
She has no problem beating up
on her brothers, but she loves
spending time with them!
She even makes Bradley come to
her Karate class with her.
She is a Daddy's girl for sure.

All pretty in her baptism dress!

My Little Angel

I always thought Maddox was a little Angel,
but now he's got the hat to prove it!
It's T-ball time again and Maddox is having
a blast.  He's improved so much from last year.
He's trying to "run fast as lightning" so he
won't get tagged out.
We really enjoy getting to spend time
together as a family watching him play.
They are still so cute out there
at this age...lots of funny mishaps!
But it hasn't gotten hot outside yet, so
it may not be so enjoyable
in a couple weeks!!

Awesome slide home

Workin up a sweat!

Maddox & his best bud Kolby

Ready to run!

Can you spot the ball?

My other little Angel is almost
ready to get here...
6 weeks or less!

Spring (Fast) Forward!

I haven't been M.I.A....it just seems that way.
Actually it's the opposite.
I keep saying I'm going to slow down and not
go out and do so much, but I don't
seem to know when to stop!

Bradley had his Raingutter Regatta for
Cubscouts.  And of course we
waited til last minute to make his boat.
I think the paint was mostly dry
when he raced it.

Marci was excited to show me her new skills
during "Jump Rope for Heart" at her school.
Thankfully this year I didn't get whipped in
the face by an overly enthusiastic jumper!

This sweet baby boy turned 5!

He still seems like a little baby.  I can't believe
he'll be going to school in a few months.
He has such a good, sweet personality.  I never
have any trouble with him.  He is constantly
giving hugs & kisses.  He loves to be
with his brother and sister.  He loves
anything having to do with cars and balls.
He started his 2nd year of
T-ball a few weeks ago.
I know he'll be a really good big brother.
I'm so lucky to get to be his Mom.

Maddox with 2 of his favorite ladies.

6 Months
I'm now in the last trimester and feeling the
urge to get things ready.  I washed the little
bit of the old baby clothes I had saved from
Bradley & Maddox.  I must have really
thought I'd have a girl next because
I had mostly saved Marci's stuff.
I figure I can just dress this Baby Boy like
one of those Beiber/Emo boys who
wear pink & purple, Haha.
Looking at all the teeny tiny clothes is
making me get really excited for the
baby to finally get here!
All I want is for him to come out
healthy and happy. That's all I need.

This time around I have a totally different
perspective.  I don't care the slightest about
getting the cute nursery bedding.  I know
that I can totally do without a lot of the baby
gadgets.  All the bouncers and swingy vibrating
things - that stuff is nice, but I don't "need" them.
And really that goes for everything in our lives.
Having to choose between:
"want", "would be convenient or easier" and "NEED"
It's been a real learning experience for us
with Tim's school and having to stretch a pathetic
student's budget to fit 5 (soon to be 6) people
instead of just 1.  Student loans just
aren't what they used to be!
I will be more than overjoyed when
this chapter is over, but for now I'm trying
to learn as much as I can from it.
The "wants" don't really make you
happy anyway.
Fortunately I learned a couple hurricanes ago,
that all I really need are my family and friends.
And I really do have the BEST of the best.
I'm a lucky girl!

Each one has to find his peace from
within. And peace to be real
 must be unaffected by
outside circumstances.- Gandhi

It's a.................

BOY!

Again!

Marci and I are outnumbered!

Marci did not take the news very well.
She cried and cried and cried forever.
It was so sad!
She really had her hopes up for a sister.
I let her pick out a cookie cake and took
her to the Outlet to pick out an outfit for
the baby.  Shopping and cake cheered
her right up- what a GIRL right?!

I really had hoped for ruffles & bows
this time around, but I do
have pretty great boys, so of course
I'm still happy with it.  Now I just
need to figure out boy names, I only
had girl names picked.
I'm just glad I hadn't bought any
girl stuff yet!  I was tempted many
many times! Ruffles and pink are
a major weakness of mine...maybe
that's why I have been given so
many boys!
