To My Fellow Book Nerds...=)

Just wanted to share that my friend has a new Book Blog. It gives really good reviews that cover the things that I want to know about a book before I read it. It's not just a summary of the book like some reviews.

And not only does it give a good general review of the book, but also discusses the amount of bad language, sex, and other adult content that I like be aware of before reading. They also have giveaways and stuff so check it out and be a follower.

T-Ball, T-Ball, Jiu Jitsu, repeat...

Maddox is having a blast playing T-Ball!
And the kids are so cute to watch!
Runnin home!

Yes, I have become one of those Mom's
who wears shirts like this...
And I made it myself, bedazzled and all
Ha!

I love when all the kids gather 'round and
listen to coach...adorable!

Maddox and his best buddy Kolby who
also goes to church & preschool with us.
So they get to see each other a lot!

Catching balls in the outfield...
nah, actually he is running to me because
he saw me taking his picture..oops.

He's definitely a good hitter!

Bradley had another Jiu Jitsu Tournament.
He got 3rd place!
We ran into his old coach from
Beaumont, who we love and miss!

Bunnies and Birthdays

It is still crazy busy around here. All of
our Saturdays are spent at T-ball.
We had an Easter Egg Hunt
for our playgroup.
I made these bunny cupcakes to bring.
I think they came out pretty dang cute!

Marci and Maddox with the goods

Bradley trying to be sneaky

We spent Easter weekend in Woodville
with my in-laws. On a whim, I
decided to run the
5k at the Dogwood Festival. I haven't
really ran much since High School track..
so I wasn't sure how it would go. But it
wasn't too bad. Only 3 min over my goal.
And fortunately my sweet
friend Brianne agreed to come with me
and keep me company. And she barely
even laughed at how slow I was
and She only yelled at me to hurry up
a couple times...haha jk!
But I'll try to be better prepared next year!

Bradley & Marci in the Bluebonnets

My father-inlaw's quails graciously
supplied us with these
adorable little eggs to dye.
However, they were not so cute
a week later when one of those little eggs
was found to be the source of the
Awful smell
in my car. They are very good at
hiding in cars.

My 2 handsome boys

Maddox found some eggs

He even found some under a log

Bradley found the $5 Prize egg

Marci made a list several months ago
of what she wanted to do for her birthday.
It said: Mani/Pedi, Build-a-Bear,
shopping, & movies.
She obviously thinks she is
turning 17, not 7!
She made this chick at Build-a-Bear.

My Mom & sisters came in to celebrate.
We chowed down at Chuy's.
Cousin Ashlyn brought Marci a
matching outfit to wear.

Marci & Ashlyn getting their
Mani/Pedi's. They both got the little
flowers painted on. All of us big girls
got pedicures too...we took up the
whole place.

After an embarrassing,
No-that-is-Not-my-kid-Meltdown,
Marci is all smiles again...

Maddox had fun making a
friend at Build-a-Bear.
Here is Maddox with
his bear "Bob". He loves this bear!!
He sleeps with him every night.
It is sooo cute.

Time is Zooming By!

2010 has been really busy so far!
But that's a good thing since
I'm still counting down the days...
and still missing home.
But I do get to go back & visit a lot!
Maddox started T-Ball, finally!
He has been wanting to play
since he could hold a ball.

He is having fun playing and loves
having his friend Kolby on his team.
Plus they look adorable in their uniforms!

Bradley & Marci had Field Days
that I volunteered to work.

Since I'm the Homeroom Mom for
Marci's class, I made these bandanas
for all the kids! They were a big hit!
I also put Marci's name on her shirt...
I was feeling pretty crafty.

We learned about toothbrushing at
my turn to host Preschool.
The kids had fun with their
giant toothbrushes.
And I just happened to have big
plastic teeth lying around from
Tim's school that the kids
loved looking at!
Maddox kept telling them that
those were His Daddy's teeth!

Strangely enough it snowed AGAIN!

Marci loves modeling for pictures,
especially when I make her new
flowers clips for her hair.

Tim & I spent Valentine's Day with
the kids at P.F. Chang's downtown.

Maddox turned 4 years old!!
He got his first bicycle and loves
riding it...that is, when his big sister
doesn't steal it from him!

Marci's artwork won a contest
at school. This is "Mrs. Pigsty".

She was very excited to go to her
first Art Show.

Bradley had fun at Pinewood Derby.
He named his car "Silver Bullet".
I think the paint on his car was still
drying when we got there! Someone
waited til last minute to make it... ;)
